Buck Crowley has designed more than 65 commercially successful products, more than $900 million in revenue. Most of these products enable the production of printing products and were industry first. He has been awarded 75 US patents, authored numerous articles and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. He is an Honored Member of the Who's Who of American Inventors. Four of his designs were awarded the coveted Graphic Arts Technical Foundation "Intertech Award" given for outstanding commercially successful products. .
He founded four successful companies: Lincoln Technologies, Automation, Inc., Roll Systems Inc., and Buck Automation Int. Roll Systems, made the INC. 500 twice, with annual revenues reaching $46 million. Roll Systems pioneered high volume on-demand printing and mail production.
